While Vikas Bahl's Shandaar, which will mark her debut as an actress, is yet to release, Sanah Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor's younger sister, has already bagged her next project. Shandaar also features her father Pankaj Kapur in a prominent role, and in her second film too Sanah will share screenspace with daddy.

A source told Mirror that the youngster has been roped in for a film titled Abhi Nahi To Kabhi Nahi, produced by Lara Dutta, her husband Mahesh Bhupathi, and Virender Arora.

Said a source close to the development, "The film is a romantic, family comedy and it deals with four couples of varying ages and their love stories. While Sanah is part of the youngest couple, Pankaj, will be seen romancing a younger actress."

The source added that the makers are bullish on the actress and after a few rounds of narration, locked her for the part. "She represents the voice of the youth in a film that has people from all age groups," added the source.

The film also features Kay Kay Menon and Rajeev Khandelwal, and will see Lara Dutta in a prominent role. It is expected to go on floors in May this year and will be extensively shot in Darjeeling.

When asked if it was her father who recommended her for the role, our source said, "No, he didn't even know that she's been approached and it was Sanah herself who broke the news to Pankaj that she's doing yet another film with him."

Shaandar will be India’s first destination wedding film and marks the fresh pairing of Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Sanah To Make Her Bollywood Debut



Shahid Kapoor is busy and very excited at the moment with Vishal Bhardwaj‘s Haider. Post that he will focus on Vikas Bahl‘s Shandaar.
Following her superstar brother Shahid Kapoor’s footsteps, Sanah Kapoor, Shahid’s younger sister, is all set to make her Bollywood debut. The girl will make her debut with the film Shandaar, which will also star her brother Shahid Kapoor.

Shahid excitedly revealed that this is going to be a film which will have him along with his family including his sister Sanah and father Pankaj Kapoor.

Reportedly, Sanah will play the role of Alia Bhatt’s sister in the film, with Pankaj playing their father.

Shandaar is a film about a lavish destination wedding and it is slated to go on floor in London, U.K. soon.

At the moment Shahid Kapoor is very busy with Haider and involved with every nitty gritty of the film. During the prep of his film Haider, Shahid was intrigued by the character and had read sketches of Hamlet to understand the character better. Shahid Kapoor has been talking to people about Shakespeare‘s works and had also been reading his books.

Directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, Haider is based on William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. It also features Tabu, Irrfan Khan and Kay Kay Menon.

With Haider, Vishal Bharadwaj is said to complete his trilogy on William Shakespeare, his earlier two being Maqbool (Macbeth) and Omkara (Othello).

Haider is set for an October 02, 2014 release.
